When a recorded sentence is consistently repeated over and over, the human brain naturally detects a melody created by the words as well as an eventual breakdown of semantics into individual morphemes, rhythms, and vocal sounds. If you stop the recording and turn it back on a few hours later, you will instantly recognize the same melody and sonic characteristics. The sentence is forever changed in your brain. Due to the nature of this phenomenon even the most serious messages, those that are largely not intended to be sung, can take a funny character.
